Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Shapesoda — the website, editor, API and MCP server (together, the “Service”) operated by Individual Entrepreneur Ali Mameday, 15 Pavstos Buzand St, Kentron district, Yerevan 0018, Armenia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
1. The Service
Shapesoda converts raster images (PNG, JPEG, WebP) into vector graphics (SVG and other formats) and lets you edit the result. You can try tracing and editing without an account; downloading results requires an account and uses credits. We may change, improve or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you have paid for.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your email address (one-time code) or with Google. Keep access to your email and your API keys secure — you are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
- One person may not create multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Credits and payment
- Downloading a result costs one credit per image. Re-downloading the same image within the period shown in the Service is free. New accounts may receive a free credit, once per mailbox.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and is named at checkout and on your receipt. The reseller processes your payment, calculates and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and handles billing questions and returns; its own buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout.
- Purchased credits do not expire unless stated otherwise at purchase. Monthly plan quotas, if any, reset each month and do not roll over.
- Refunds are described in our Refund Policy: unused credit packs can be refunded on request within the period stated there; used credits are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash. If processing fails on our side, the credit is returned automatically.
- You can set your own monthly spending limit in your account; neither the Service nor anyone using your API key can spend beyond it.
4. Your content
- You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the results you download. You give us only the limited permission needed to process your images to provide the Service.
- You confirm you have the right to use the images you upload and that processing them does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- We process images in memory and keep them only briefly, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your images to train models.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload content that is illegal, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, or depicts the sexual abuse of minors;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, models, algorithms or parameters of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- systematically collect or scrape outputs of the Service, or use outputs, to build, train or improve a competing product, dataset or machine-learning model;
- resell, sublicense or provide the API or MCP server to third parties as a standalone or white-labelled service without our written permission (building your own product that uses the API for your end users is allowed);
- circumvent rate limits, quotas, bot protection, credit accounting or other security measures, or create accounts in bulk;
- interfere with or overload the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or access other users’ data.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
6. API and MCP server
- Access requires an API key from your account. Keys are personal to your account; revoke a key immediately if it may have leaked.
- API and MCP use is subject to rate limits, daily caps and file-size and resolution limits described in the documentation, and uses the same credits as the website.
- If you connect the Service to an AI agent or other automated tool, you are responsible for the actions that tool takes with your key, within the spending limit you set.
7. Availability and warranties
We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. Vectorisation is automatic and may not be perfect for every image; check results before relying on them. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if required by law. Unused credits are not refunded on termination for breach.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Yerevan, Armenia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
